Oh darling, I wish you were here...

Home. Ocean City. Salisbury. Home.

I've been back over a week now and I have had to deal with more drama in this past week than I think my little self can handle. The saying is true, I have been repeatedly getting kicked while I am down... and I am simply sick of it.

Saturday, May 22nd. While I sat in the Prague airport, listening to my ipod on repeat to a song about goodbyes, I had my sunglasses on to hide the tears flowing down my cheek and my heart was breaking. Celia got in line to board our flight to Frankfurt, but I just sat there refusing to get up... having an inner debate with myself about whether I should board my plane...I later told Celia that I was 5secs. away from not boarding and running out of the airport, she told me she would have ran after me because she was not leaving without me. Such a great friend! If Celia wasn't on my flight, I would have most definitely ran from the airport.

As soon as we landed in Frankfurt we went to Duty Free and I bought myself a box of Godiva Dark Chocolate. I needed a pick-me-up and chocolate was the only thing that was going to get me through a 9hr flight to DC, sitting in the middle of two strangers and nowhere near Celia. Lufthansa Airlines sucks... I took a Tylenol PM and practically slept the entire flight home. Waking up for food, water and to cry. I ate 1/2 my box of chocolates... having one every time I cried. Best money I spent in an airport.

In DC, Deena was outside of baggage claim waiting with balloons! I was SO excited to see her!! She took me to Panera where I got broccoli and cheddar soup with a lemonade. So yummy. She drove me back home and it was so weird being in an empty house. Joey came home as I was going to bed... I was too upset for my own good, but luckily I have the best twin sister in the entire world who drove through the night, picked me up and took me back to the OC with her to distract me.

This past week was a rollercoaster. Moved out of my house in Salisbury, saw Celia, got to see my besties Autumn and Wayne, had Deena's Bachlorette weekend and finally returned back to the country of Frederick Country, Maryland.

It is too hard to express how much I miss Prague, my friends and living my own life. Instead of coping with my misery, I am putting up a front and acting like my old happy-go-lucky self... soon I will probably have a severe meltdown, but until then I will just act happy because maybe it will actually make me happy. Doubtful, but maybe...
(I missed you too...)

Summer school sucks. It's even harder to concentrate here than it was in Prague. My thoughts constantly wander back to my dream of a semester and I just lose complete focus. It is awful. But as my mom has told me... I have worked way too hard to accept anything but an A in this class. I just don't care anymore but she is right. I have no idea how I am going to get myself through this class that and to July 19th. A countdown is in order! I love. love. love countdowns!

Some things to look forward to...

Dominican Republic June 26th- July 3rd.

July 4th weekend in the OC - I get to see most of my family!!!

July 14th - Autumn & Wayne's 21st Birthday

Going up to Boston on weekend to see Celia!!!

Soaking up the sun, getting tan and eating fresh fruit.

Spending time with all my favorite people, family and relaxing.

I am still adjusting to being home. Reverse culture shock SUCKS. My concept of time is still MIA. Don't be upset with me if I am no fun... the fun Jenny will soon be back, just give it time.

Oh, on a happier note I am still allergic to all of nature and the countryside... starting back with my regular once/week allergy shots soon. Sounds fun to me. :)

48 days until summer school is over!

128 days until I see my Prague lovers!

Until next time...
